My mother, Helen, was a cook. She had the knack for creating the most wonderful tasting food, and our family gathered around her table every evening to partake in the dishes she lovingly made for us. Thanks, mom; this blog is a tribute to you.
Tuna Twist Salad
Cathy's Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb twisted pasta
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cans of tuna, drained and flaked
1 celery rib, thinly sliced
1 small chopped red onion (I've used yellow or Vidalia, both work fine)
Directions:
Cook past according to package directions, drain, rinse and drain again.
In a large bowl, combine the mayo, vinegar, and sugar. Mix well.
Add the pasta and remaining ingredients.
Toss until well mixed, cover, and chill for at least 2–3 hours.
