Beef Stroganoff

Mike's Recipe




Ingredients:


  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 minced clove of Garlic
  • 1/2 Cup of minced onion
  • 2 small cans mushrooms (stems also ok)
  • 1 package extra wide egg noodles
  • 1 12 oz cans campbells cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 4 tablespoon of butter


Directions:

  • Brown the ground beef in a medium-sized pan.
  • Caramelize onions, garlic, and butter on medium heat.
  • Cook egg noodles as directed and set aside.
  • Mix Campbell's cream of mushroom soup, salt, flour, pepper, and mushrooms together with the ground beef mixture.
  • Let simmer over medium (not boiling) heat for 15 minutes.
  • When you are ready to serve dinner, stir in sour cream until thoroughly heated.
  • Do not let sauce mixture boil once sour cream has been added.
  • Combine with or pour over the egg noodles separately.
